In 1994 I surrendered my life to vocational ministry. The story is long and worth telling, but I will update on another day. The point to this site is this, the day after I surrendered my life to be a pastor I had my first job. God worked that quickly to affirm His call on my life. Before I left Dallas to head south to the thriving metropolis of Cleveland, Texas, I was given a small pamphlet titled “TULIP.” As I began to read this little pamphlet, my life was forever changed. My view of God and His grace shifted from inward to outward and upward. I saw clearly for the first time that God chose me as one of His own….not for me nor my benefit but for His glory.

I have made of lot unnecessary blunders by failing to stop and take a deep breath….off fresh air.
