After reading a couple of books about the decline of strong Bible knowledge within the evangelism world, we are shifting the way we do things as a church. We want to simplify people’s lives and focus on the essentials. Because of this we are introducing catechism into our church. Catechism will be taught in the home as well as at church during intentional age graded life groups. It is our goal as a church that when a child graduates high school, they know vital doctrinal truth, have the essential passages memorized by heart, and have the ability communicate why they believe what they believe. I am very excited about what our future holds!
