on vacation
Just a quick update as we are on vacation this week in San Diego. We found a great hotel to stay in while in San Diego. It is right downtown among the hustle and bustle. The part of the whole stay that has been pretty funny to us is that there is a “comic book” convention going on at the same time and we are in one of the main hotels as the convention goers. There are so many things that I could write but I really don’t want to offend anybody. What I will say is that God is very creative and there is something for everyone 
. There are people of all ages and even parents who dress their children up as comic characters…..don’t know about that one….GIVE THE KID A CHANCE!!! But anyway, I asked a group of teenagers this morning about the conference and they told me that it was more of a “pop culture” conference…not just a room full of comic books and vendors. hhhhh the memories that we have…we are having a good time to say the least…….but if you want to know if 20 somethings dress up like star trek characters….the answer is……drum roll…..YES!!!….amazing

have fun! My friend Joanne is working at that convention and asked me to pray for divine appointments for her. I guess I wont have to pray that hard it looks like there will be plenty of ops.
My meeting with “her” kw will be happening this weekend. Ill call you at church and let you know how it goes. JD
